Where possible, we ask that you arrange appointments outside working hours, or as early in the day or late in the afternoon as possible to minimise disruption.
We know that's not always possible, and we'll try to work with you to allow you time off if we can, but there may be times when we have to say no or ask you to rearrange an appointment if it would cause significant disruption.
You should let your manager know about any appointments well in advance. Please use the Time off for Appointments Request Form. Once your manager receives your completed form, they'll discuss options with you (such as making time up at a later date, taking holiday or unpaid leave).
We will also ask you for evidence of your appointment - this could be an appointment card, letter, email or message.
If you do need time off to attend an appointment, please complete this form, giving as much notice and detail as possible.
