Smoking

Smoking is harmful to health and we have a duty to protect our employees and our customers. Smoking can also be hazardous near flammable materials, liquids and gasses and whilst operating machinery. We're committed to providing a smoke free environment for our teams.

Its illegal to smoke inside any of our buildings or salons. If you do smoke, you must do so in your break times, outside and in the designated place (never stand outside the front of the salon) and you must dispose of your litter.

Although not much is known about the negative effects of e-cigarettes, they do give off a smoke-like substance and a smell that is not always desirable, so our smoking rules also apply to e-cigarettes.

We know quitting smoking can be challenging and we want to be supportive. If you're quitting smoking please speak to your manager to see what help and support is on offer.
