Background & Motivation

I chose this course because AI is increasingly used in English education and language learning. Before the semester, I did not know how to use AI correctly or efficiently, and I mainly associated AI with tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini.

Core Value of Digital Humanities

Through my final project, I learned that AI can be more than a simple answering tool. It can help organize ideas, create bullet points, improve writing, and support independent language learning. However, I also learned that AI answers can be too general, repetitive, incomplete, or inaccurate.

Because of this, I revised the content by adding my own thoughts, fixing unclear parts, comparing AI responses with reliable sources, and using my judgment to decide what should be included. This changed my existing knowledge because I no longer think of AI as something that simply provides answers.

Reflections & Key Takeaways

I now understand that AI-assisted learning requires active checking, revision, and personal responsibility. In the future, I can use AI to support English learning and writing practice, but I still need to think independently and make sure the information is correct and suitable.
