MY PROJECT
I wrote my own self‑introduction text and used NotebookLM to generate matching visuals. The result was a clean, AI‑assisted infographic that combined personal language identity with generative imagery.
I programmed the Kebbi robot to tell the story of the Mid‑Autumn Festival. I set both its speech (simple English for young learners) and its physical movements, turning a traditional tale into an interactive performance.
Kebbi.mp4Based on the original Aladdin story, I created an R&B/pop song and a full music video. I used Deepseek, Gemini, and NotebookLM to generate lyrics, Suno AI to compose the song, Canva and Google Vids to produce the video, and CapCut to combine audio and video.
My group built a friendly tour guide chatbot for Yuguang Island, Tainan. It introduces historical sites (Anping Old Fort, Eternal Golden Castle) and local food. We designed prompts to make the chatbot use clear English, cultural analogies, and interactive questions.
I uploaded an academic paper about embodied social agency in robot‑assisted language learning into NotebookLM. The AI generated a complete slide deck, which I then reviewed and adapted for classroom use.

I chose this course because it offered a chance to explore AI in language learning. Normally, I would not actively learn this kind of content on my own. AI skills are becoming more important for the future. In language learning, I often struggled with translation and writing. I hoped that AI tools could help me with assignments and exam review. At first I had concerns because I was not very good with computers and the course sounded difficult. But after working on real projects, I found that AI can be a helpful assistant.

My projects combined AI with language learning and culture. For Guided Reading PPT, I used NotebookLM to turn a paper into slides on robot learning. For Kebbi, I programmed speech and movement to tell the Moon Festival story. For Edcafe, I built a Tainan tour guide bot introducing historical sites and local food. For the AI MV, I made an Aladdin music video using Deepseek, Gemini, NotebookLM, Suno AI, Canva, Google Vids, and CapCut. AI acted as a lyric partner, composer, video generator, performer, narrator, and study assistant. This role diversity is hard to achieve in traditional classrooms. Teachers can use Kebbi to make culture lessons engaging. Shy learners can practice with a chatbot. Beginners can make music videos to memorize vocabulary. The project is useful for students without music backgrounds and for teachers who want to use AI.
