Learning to write a cover letter is important because it helps us express our strengths and make a good first impression.
Background & Motivation:
Combine traditional customs of the Chinese New Year with SDGs 2: Zero hunger. New Year's Eve dinner symbolizes reunion and sharing, as well as caring for people in need. This day is not only a time to enjoy the festive spirit but also a chance to do something good for society. Through this program, Foreign students cannot only learn some Chinese characters and stories from dish names but also learn about global issues.
I faced many challenges in this project. Since it was my first time programming, everything—from logic to block coding—was new. I had to test the robot repeatedly to find mistakes, but I’m glad for this learning experience. Even though this is the work that I struggled with the most this semester, I must say this is also the chance for me to learn new AI tools.
Background & Motivation:
During the development of this program, we encountered several challenges. The problems stemmed from missing steps in the programming process and limitations in color recognition.
Thankfully, with the support of our classmates, we were able to troubleshoot and resolve the issues collaboratively.
Background & Motivation:
This project aimed to create a song that
resonates with fellow students. Using a humorous tone, the song portrays the fatigue of a female college student facing the challenge of attending a 9 a.m. class.
The process involved multiple tools, from generating the song with AI to designing the background visuals for the music video. Despite the difficulties, this was the most enriching and educational assignment.
Background & Motivation:
We aim to help foreigners who are learning Chinese to explore Taiwan’s unique Indigenous cultures while visiting Nanto. Our chatbot allows them learn about these traditions and also helps with things like transportation and hotel suggestions.
This is also the only class work we designed with our classmates, I am glad that we brainstormed and learned a lot from each other.

This article discussing the potential problems of AI, such as bias, privacy issues, and accessibility. From this reading, I learned that the development of AI is not perfect. While technology brings us convenience, it also comes with hidden threats that we should not ignore. One important point is that children in remote areas may face even more challenges compared to those living in cities. As AI continues to grow, it could increase the gap between urban and rural areas. This reminds us to think carefully about fairness and equality when using technology.
