Gospel Reflection 2019/2020

5TH SUNDAY OF EASTER

10 May 2020

[John 14: 1-12]

Fear is a natural human emotion arising from the core of our being towards the unknown and the uncertain.

Throughout our life, we are constantly anxious and worried for our family, our relationships, our nation, our world, our health, our career, our investments, our properties, our future, our retirement, our death, and even our life after death…

Whatever our fears and however overwhelming our fears could be, Jesus’ comforting voice continues to echo through the ages offering us sure hope:

“Do not let your hearts be troubled.

Trust in God still, and trust in me.”

[John 14: 1]

Let our prayerful response be:

"Jesus, I trust in you.”
