4TH SUNDAY OF EASTER

3 May 2020

[John 10: 1-10]

According to Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, the Liturgy of the Fourth Sunday of Easter presents to us one of the most beautiful images of our Lord Jesus: He is the GOOD SHEPHERD and we are the flock that is led by His hand.

As His flock, our right attitude towards our Shepherd Master should be “to listen” and “to follow”. We must first listen to our Master’s voice and inwardly accept His teaching, only then we can live out His commands and be His true disciples.

To “follow” closely, we must first “listen” attentively. Let us therefore listen with the ear of our heart to follow Jesus more closely.
