I am researching loading operation of Tiger I to SSyms flatcar, and also trying to find the operating manual ”D 659/2" and "D 659/2a", but that's hard to find them yet. Therefore, information on loading the Tiger I onto a flat car as described in the German Army military report and the Tigerfibel was sorted out to infer the loading/unloading operation.
SSyms 長物車 (*1) へのタイガーIの積み下ろし操作を調査するため、「D 659/2」と「D 659/2a」の教範を探しているのですが見つけることができません。そこで、ドイツ陸軍の報告書やTigerfibelに記載されているタイガーIの長物車 への積み下ろしに関する情報を整理し、操作の推測を行った。
*1 運輸調査局『鉄道辞典 : 日英米独仏露華対訳』（1952年）は、Rungenwagen 長物車。大阪鉄道局「鉄道用語辞典」（1935年）は、長物車 Flat car と記載されている。

Then an information was offered from the webmaster https://panzerplace.eu/. The report archived in Bundesarchiv describes the Tiger I loading operation onto SSyms flatcar. The report says that it needs Zugmaschine (tractor) and Drehkran (a slewing crane) to support the loading operation of Tiger I and the tracks.

Die Verladung über Kopf- und Seitenrampe bietet keine Schwierigkeiten.Im Winter muß auf saubere Ketten geachtet werden, da sonst beim Kettenwechsel durch festfrieren ein großer Zeitverlust entsteht. Beim Verladen bezw. Kettenwechsel in Rußland muß jeder Transport mindestens eine 1 to Zugmaschine oder einen 3 to. Drehkran zum Schleppen der Ketten haben. Wenn infolge Ausrüstung Zuteilung für jeden Transport nicht möglich ist, verbleiben eine Zugmachine und ein Drehkran aus den ersten Transporten am Ort des Kettenwechsels und werden vom letzten Transport aufgenommen. Für den Kettenwechsel in Rusland (d.h. abladen, auflegen der Marschketten, verladen) werden je nach Ausbildung 5 bis 10 Stunden für jeden Transport (3 Tiger) gebraucht. Beim verladen in der Heimat ist darauf zu achten, daß die richtigen Lauf-rollenflansche und genügend Schrauben und Sicherungsbleche mitgehen. Die Verladung von nicht fahrbereiten Tigern über Seitenrampen ist nicht durchführbar und über ortsfeste Kopframpen sehr schwierig. Hierbei werden meistens 2 zusammengekoppelte Ssymswagen durch eine Lok. an die Kopframpe geschoben und angebremst. Es ist wichtig, daß die Lok. scharf mitbremst und die Wagen beim Auffahren des Tigers mithält.
Eine Zugmaschine zieht den zu verladenden Tiger und führt über den ersten u. zweiten Ssymswagen. Eine 2. Zugmaschine stößt. Jst gleichzeitig eine Seitenrampe vorhanden, zieht eine 3. Zugmaschine seitwärts mit. Fehlt die Seitenrampe und der Tiger ist schwer beweglich, muß die 3. die 2. Zugmaschine stoßen.
II. Transport
Loading via head and side ramp offers no difficulties. In winter, care must be taken to ensure that the tracks are clean, otherwise a great deal of time will be lost when changing the tracks due to freezing. When loading or changing tracks in Russia, each transport must have at least a 1 ton tractor or a 3 ton. Have a slewing crane to tow the tracks. If it is not possible to allocate the equipment for each transport, one tractor and one slewing crane from the first transports will remain at the place of track change and will be picked up by the last transport. For the track change in Russia (i.e. unloading, putting on the terrain tracks, loading) 5 to 10 hours are needed for each transport (3 Tigers), depending on the training. When loading in the home, care must be taken to ensure that the correct roller flanges and sufficient bolts and locking plates are included. Loading of unroadworthy Tigers over side ramps is not feasible and over stationary head ramps is very difficult. In most cases, 2 coupled Ssyms cars are pushed to the head ramp by a locomotive and braked. It is important that the locomotive brakes sharply and keeps the wagons in line when the Tiger drives up.
A tractor pulls the Tiger to be loaded and leads over the first and the second Ssyms flatcar. A 2nd tractor pushes. If a side ramp is available at the same time, a 3rd tractor pulls sideways. If the side ramp is missing and the Tiger is difficult to move, the 3rd tractor must push the 2nd tractor.
II. 輸送
ヘッドランプ、サイドランプによる積み込みは難しくない。冬期は、履帯に汚れがないこと。さもなければ凍結のために履帯の交換に多大な時間を費やすことになる。ロシアで積み込みや履帯交換をする場合、各輸送には少なくとも1トンか3トンのトラクターと、履帯を牽引する旋回クレーンを用意する。各輸送に機材を割り当てることができない場合、最初の輸送からトラクター1台と旋回クレーン1台を履帯交換場所に残し、最後の輸送でそれを引き取る。ロシアでの履帯交換（荷降ろし、野外用履帯の装着、積み込み）は、訓練次第だが、1輸送（タイガー3台）あたり5〜10時間程度掛かる。ホームでの積み込みの際には、正しい転輪フランジと十分なボルトとロックプレートが有ることの確認を注意する事。走行不可能なタイガーをサイドランプで積み込むことは不可能であり、固定されたヘッドランプで積み込むことは非常に困難である。多くの場合、2両連結のSsyms 長物車は機関車に押されてヘッドランプまで行き、ブレーキを掛ける。機関車は確実にブレーキを掛け、タイガーが搭乗して来たときに長物車が1列になっていることが重要である。
1台目のトラクターがタイガーを引っ張り、1台目と2台目のSsyms 長物車の上を誘導して積み込む。2台目のトラクターが押す。同時にサイドランプがある場合は、3番目のトラクターが横から引く。サイドランプがなく、タイガーの移動が困難な場合は、3台目のトラクターが2台目のトラクターを押す必要がある。
2. Study of loading procedure
Even not knowing the loading procedure in the operation manual, I drew an assumed loading procedure, Figure 1 and Figure 2, based on the information in Tigerfibel page 45 and the above report of Paderborn.
However, I suppose the case of Figure 1 is realistic because the tank operation on the flatcar of Figure 2 seems quite unstable and inefficient compared to Figure 1.
Please note that the dimensions and scale are provisional.

The following is my assumption of the Tiger I rail transportation workflow.
Although some of the individual tasks are gradually becoming known from reports and booklets of WW2 German archive, no documents describing the overall workflow have been found.
(1) The tank unit requested the Railroad Transport Control Unit of the Railroad Control District to transport tanks by railroad flatcar. The tank unit requested that three Tiger I tanks be loaded onto railroad flatcar at station A and unloaded at station B, 30 kilometers away.
(2) The Rail Transport Control Unit arranges for 3 SSyms grün [SSyms green] flatcars with Tiger I transport tracks and orders them to move the SSyms grün flatcars to Station A. If the station platforms at Stations A and B cannot support the Tiger I, the Rail Transport Control Unit orders them to arrange for dedicated loading platforms at each station. The rail transport control unit informs the tank unit of the completion of the arrangements.
(3) The tank unit secures the work vehicle, and moves Tiger I and the work vehicle [1-ton or 3-ton half-track, swivel crane] to Station A.
(4) Three Tiger I and work vehicles arrive at Station A. The work vehicle unloads the transport tracks from SSyms grün flatcars. The tank unit replaces the Tiger I with the transport tracks. The work vehicle loads the terrain tracks [combat tracks] onto the SSyms grün flatcars. The tank unit loads the Tiger I onto the SSyms grün flatcars, and loads the work vehicles on the railroad flatcars.
(5) The flatcars are moved to Station B.
(6) The railroad flatcars arrive at Station B. Unloads Tiger I from SSyms grün flatcars by platform or special loading platform. The work vehicle unloads the terrain tracks [combat tracks].
(7) The tank unit replaces the Tiger I with the terrain tracks [combat tracks].
(8) The tank unit cleans and inspects the transport tracks, and loads the transport tracks to SSyms grün flatcars.
(9) End.
Tiger Iの鉄道輸送作業手順を想定でまとめてみる。
個々の作業は当時の報告書や冊子から徐々に判ってきた部分もあるが、全体の作業手順を説明した資料は見つかっていない。
(1)戦車部隊から鉄道管理区の鉄道輸送管理部隊へ戦車の輸送を要請。「3両のTiger IをA駅で長物車に載せ、30km離れたB駅で降車させたい」と。
(2)鉄道輸送管理部隊は、Tiger I輸送用履帯を載せたSSyms grün [SSyms 緑] 3両の長物車の手配を行いA駅へ輸送を指示する。A駅とB駅へ駅プラットフォームがTiger Iに対応できない場合はそれぞれ専用積卸台の手配を指示する。鉄道輸送管理部隊は手配完了を戦車部隊へ連絡する。
(3)戦車部隊は作業用車両を確保する。Tiger Iと作業用車両 [1トンか3トンハーフトラック、旋回クレーン]をA駅へ移動させる。
(4)3両のTiger Iと作業用車両がA駅に到着。作業用車両がSSyms 緑から輸送用履帯を降ろす。戦車部隊が Tiger Iを輸送用履帯へ付け替える。作業用車両が野外用履帯(戦闘用履帯)をSSyms 緑に積載する。戦車兵がTiger IをSSyms 緑へ積載する。作業用車両を長物車へ積載する。
(5)長物車をB駅へ移動させる。
(6)長物車がB駅に到着後、ブレーキを掛ける。Tiger Iをプラットフォームか専用積載台でSSyms 緑から卸下させる。作業用車両が野外用履帯 [戦闘用履帯]を卸下させる。
(7)戦車部隊がTiger Iを野外用履帯 [戦闘用履帯]に付け替える。
(8)戦車部隊が輸送用履帯を洗浄し点検、輸送用履帯をSSyms 緑へ荷揚げする。
(9)完了。

It's interesting to see this Tiger that some luggage are placed on the side fenders attached upside down.
A Tiger I is loading on SSys Köln flatcar, and it already exceeded the flatcar's maximum loading capacity 52 tonnes. This was taken III,Panzerregiment "Großdeutschland" arrived at Rowynaji in January 1944. The unit, location and date information source is "Tigers In Combat II".

At first I wondered about the reason for the umbrella equipment on the cupola of the Tiger I loaded on the railroad flatcar, but my guess is that the umbrella might have been attached only during the time when the tank crews had to do some kind of work inside the Tiger I at the same time as the loading work on the flatcar.
My guess is what the tank crews had to do some kind of work inside the Tiger I, e.g. take the personal or important stuffs out, applied the handbrake, tightened the fuel valve of the engine, secure the ammunition holder of the rack, or maybe even disconnected the battery cables.
当初、長物車に積み込まれた状態のTiger Iのキューポラに傘 Regenschirm が備え付けられている理由を不思議に思っていた。私の推測は、長物車への積み込み作業と同時に 戦車兵がTiger I内部で何らかの作業をする時にだけ傘が付けられたのではないかと思う。
戦車兵が行う必要な作業とは、例えば身の回り品や重要な荷物を取り出したり、ハンドブレーキをかけたり、エンジンの燃料バルブを締めたり、ラックの弾薬ホルダーを固定したり、あるいはバッテリーのケーブルを外したりする、と推測している。
