・1. October 2019, the seminar of the EU Law in the Winter Semester 2019/2020 started at the Graduate School of Law of Kobe University. (the number of participating students = 4)
・Prof. Dr. INOUE takes charge of making this seminar.
・1. October 2019, the first class was held from 17:50 to 19:20: its content is like orientation of taking this seminar.
・On the first class, Prof. Dr. INOUE explained the aim of this seminar: Students will read books and papers concerning the EU Law, esp. Euroscepticism or the basic principle of the EU in accordance with their interests, and through this studies, the analytical knowledge level of the EU Law would be strengthened.
・At the seminar on 15. and 22. October from 17:50 to 20:50, the PhD student made presentations concerning the contents of the paper, Hans-Werner Sinn, "Brexit, Deutschland und die Zukunft der Europaeischer Union" (in German version), in; Hans Herbert von Arnim (Hrsg.), Erosion von Demokratie und Rectsstaat?, 2018, S. 11ff.
・At the other time, the lectures were held to study the Linguistic Rights in the post-Soviet countries, especially Baltic States as member-states of the EU, from the viewpoint of the protection of fundamental rights in the EU in order to prepare for the presentation in Workshop in Taipei, Taiwan, and Torun, Poland.
・ Moreover, Prof. Dr. INOUE guides and supervises one exchange student taking the Double Degree Program between Jagiellonian University and Kobe University. She is an Italian student, comes from Kraków, Poland, and stays in Kobe, Japan, until the end of June 2020. She wrote her Master thesis aiming at clarifing the Italian concept of the katéchon in comparison with Japanese Constitution. Its main content is the elucidation of the connect between the principle of human dignity as the basic und universal principle of fundamental rights and the religious concept of the katéchon from the comparative viewpoint between Japan and Europe.
・After the interview as the last exam. occurred on the 16. June 2020, Prof. Dr. INOUE made the note as good for her thesis.
