From the 11. May 2020 to 24. June 2020 and 12. August 2020 I 'm making a class concerning European Law at Law School of Kobe University for all together 30 hours.
This class provides students with a basic understanding of the legal basis of the European Union, esp. the legal background history of ECSC, EEC and EURATOM, Rome Treaty of 1958, Establishment and Development of the EU from Maastricht to Lisbon Treaty, and the governance system of the EU under Lisbon Treaty, the general principle of the Rule of Law, Democracy of the EU, and the guarantee system of the Fundamental Rights in the EU.
The number of students participating in this class are 18, a little bit small number in comparison with the normal semester. I think that the reason is that at this semester all classes will be made by online through Internet, not at the classroom, because of Coronavirus.
