From the 14. April 2021 to 10. June 2021 and 29. July 2021 I 'm making a class concerning European Law at Law School of Kobe University for all together 34 hours.
From the 14. April 2021 to 28. July 2021 I'm making a class of The Class of European Studies from the Economical Perspectives (30 hours) at the Faculty of Economics of Setsunan University (Osaka).
The Lectures of these classes are all made by Online, because of COVID-19 pandemic .
【A Class of European Law at the Law School of Kobe University】
This class provides students of Law School, Kobe University, with a basic understanding of the legal basis of the European Union, esp. the legal background history of ECSC, EEC and EURATOM, Rome Treaty of 1958, Establishment and Development of the EU from Maastricht to Lisbon Treaty, and the governance system of the EU under Lisbon Treaty, the general principle of the Rule of Law, Democracy of the EU, and the guarantee system of the Fundamental Rights in the EU, Brexit from the legal perspective. And as the current topic of the EU, I takes the problem of LGBT free zone in Poland at the last class, anti "the rule of law" politics coming from the Anti-European Populism.
The number of students participating in this class are 22, a little bit small number in comparison with the normal semester. I think that the reason is that also at this semester all classes will be made by online through Internet, not at the classroom, because of Coronavirus.
The contents of this class in detail are as follows.
1 The historical development of the integration of Europe, esp. Pan-Europe movement.
2 The Contents of Schumann Declaration and the establishment of ECSC.
3 Rome Treaty and establishment of EEC and Euratom and Single European Protocol of 1986.
4 Maastricht Treaty and Establishment of the European Union.
5 The European Union from Maastricht to Nice Treaty and failure of the Treaty of the European Constitution.
6 Features of Lisbon Treaty and the new EU since 2009.
7 Governmental organs of the EU, the European Council, the European Parliament, Council of the EU, the European Commission and the European Court of Justice.
8 Relation between the EU and the Member-States, the principle of conferal, subsidiaryty and proportionality.
9 Resolving way of Lisbon Treaty concerning the deficit of democracy in the EU.
10 Procedure of the legislation of the EU Law and superiority of the EU Law.
11 the system guaranteeing the Fundamental Rights in the EU.
12 The Contents of the EU Charta of Fundamental Rights.
13 Enforcing system of the EU Law
14 Competence of the ECJ in order to protect the principle of the Rule of Law in the EU.
15 Special topic: legal problems concerning the rights of LGBT person in Eastern Europe
16 Procedure in Art. 7 TEU and Art. 258 TFEU against the Member-States which violate the values of the EU
17 Special topic: Brexit from the legal perspective.

10 EURO Crisis and the Recovery from it in the EU.
11 Common Trade Policy of the EU: the concept of EPA and FTA.
12 Competition Policy and the EU as a Free market.
