Leaderboards
kool aid and Homie find themselves on the leaderboards again, with kool aid now just leading in hold but Homie taking the returns and tags title for this week again. This time Porps took the prevent title, yea took the cap title, and jig got the most pups. For the GASP/NISH leaderboard, OD God takes the 10 OGASP, noice takes the 100 ONISH, while Homie snags everything else. Solid performance from Homie again. By my count, the team with the most appearances on both leaderboards is Weed the People, with 11 out of the possible 24 spots, with 10 of them coming from Homie. Second place is Master Boaters, with 7 appearances, all of them from kool aid. There are still five teams that have yet to appear on either leaderboard for A-Team.
Team Stats
Comparing these team stats to W1, the main differences I saw were increases in tags, pops, NRTs, F/G, NDPs, P/HA, RIB%, and QR%. Most of these increases can be attributed to MERALD and Grenadine, which have a ton of spiking opportunities and also have chokey bases. F/G jumped up by 0.05 points, while NDPs increased by 17, which are staples on MERALD. Because of these chokey bases, it also makes sense that RIB% and QR% increased, with RIB% increasing by six percentage points and QR% increasing by five points. A 25 tag increase from W1 to W2 could be the result of buttons leading to gate kills.
I know that Ralph Wiggum said that these team stats are kind of a mini scouting report for teams, and I kind of like that. I might add a section called "Scouting Report" after like four weeks which analyzes each team's performance up till the halfway point of the season. That should be fun.
Best / Worst TOTW
Honestly, this week was really tough to decide which team was the best and which team was the worst, because, honestly, I don't think any team really dominated or got dominated in their matchup. There wasn't a single team this week that won all of their halves or lost all of their halves. Most games ended in splits, and the sweeps had close games. I don't think it'd be right to really definitely call a single team the best or the worst this week, so I won't do it. The Best Team of the Week was no one, while the Worst Team of the Week was also no one.
