Weed the People dominated CYC in terms of tags and returns, with WTP having 65 more returns and 43 more tags than CYC, which is a huge difference. CYC actually came dead last in tags and returns, while WTP came second in those two categories. That in turn led to 22 more NRTs, 16 more QRs, 7 more KRs, and 9 more RIBs than CYC. Despite all of that, the RIB% and QR% between the two teams weren't that different, with WTP actually having a worst RIB% at 26.30%. Another huge disparity is the fact that CYC had 230 pops, second most for the week as well, while WTP had the least amount of pops this week with 164, which led to WTP having the highest team KD this week at 2.09, which is 1.28 more than CYC's KD at 0.81, which was the second worst. On the flip side, the Cyclists had the edge on WTP when it came to prevent, coming in at 1863, which was 440 more seconds than WTP's prevent. They also had the least amount of HA at 887, the highest P/HA at 0.525, and the highest P/R at 14.92. On a crazy map like MERALD, in base prevent isn't really as important as tags and returns, but on Grenadine, a prevent-heavy playstyle is way more effective.
On the offensive side of the tables, we know that Weed the People had a low amount of hold at 887, which was 251 seconds less than CYC's amount of hold at 1138 seconds. CYC also had a better H/G at 7.385 seconds per grab and 16 more good handoffs than WTP, which was tied for the most this week with LST. CYC also had 36 more grabs than WTP, and had a better Chain% with 77.99%, compared to WTP's 74.71%. For Weed the People though, they had the edge in score rate, leading the week with 16.75%, and their F/G ratio was one of the best this week at 0.2593. If you wanted to compare how many categories each team "won" between them, the tally ends up being 13-12 in favor of WTP (pups was tied), so this match was very even.
