Starting off with T-Swift as the leading offender is always a good strategy. He's a smart player who's game sense is stellar, with great mechanics to boot. Getting Homer Jay as his offensive partner was a smart move too. I really like Homer Jay, but the past couple of seasons have seen him with offenders that don't really have those smart players that can create opportunities, and I feel like he'll feel right at home with T-Swift. The one issue I can maybe seeing is that both Homer and T-Swift seem too grabby for my liking. I know Homer still has the issue about grabbing on O/D, and I hope T-Swift can help him tone that down considerably. Homer stop grabbing on O/D, just because it worked the other 929586010 times doesn't mean you should still do it. Spheroid had a nice comeback season with a 79 ONISH, and should be able to shore up this offense some more. Gleg is a decent offender since he's pretty good at EggBall, so that's four good offenders here. Plain Shane has a 37.4% win rate in pubs, so that's nice too.
The defense is just an absolute question mark for me. You have SB12, who is pretty decent, sure, but he's your best defender on this team. I don't really think SB12 should be the best defender on your team, because in all of his seasons, he hasn't really made that jump to become a leading defender yet. He's somewhat suitable as a second defender, or even a third defender, but having him lead the defense seems like a huge oversight on AD's part. Then, his defensive parther is just meh in my opinion. Inspire is returning after a long break, and I know that his S7 performance for Attack the Block was pretty good, netting a 9.29 DGASP, but I don't see any evidence that he's playing at that level again, much less even playing again. Like, seriously, I don't know if he's played any games in three weeks. Then, you maybe have betskii play defense, and considering he's living in Australia, I don't really see him making an immediate impact? And that's it, that's all of your defenders. You can maybe move Gleg to defense but I don't think that will help. Maybe move T-Swift to defense, but then you lose your best and smartest offender. Right now the hope is that an SB12 / Inspire defense is good enough to keep MB8 in the game, and I just don't see that happening.
I like the offense, but I hate the defense, that's pretty much the gist of this. I guess it will be up to AD to maybe shift some players around, because no matter how good the offense is, and it's good, it won't matter if the defense keeps letting the flag out. With this defense, I see that happening a lot.
