inthesomeday was the first captain to fill out his starting four players, and he definitely didn't have to deviate from his first plan. I think his plan was a smart one, and this team could probably make a deep run into the playoffs.
The defense is a strong starting point for this squad. Porps was someday's NPC pick, and it was a smart one. Porps has been stuck on B-Team for quite a bit, but he's dominated the B-Team scene, so it was inevitable that he'd move up to A-Team again. I think he'll struggle a little bit with some of the A-Team offenders, but overall he should be fine since he has a good support defensive partner. El Sacko has done well as a support defender on A-Team in multiple seasons, so I don't doubt he'll be able to cover for Porps when he makes mistakes. All in all, a solid defensive pairing.
For offense, someday took two support balls from last season and put them together. ScrubJay was 2P1S's partner and I actually really liked what I saw from him. His mechanics are no joke, so I guess he'll be the lead offender in this partnership. OD God was Crossover's partner and I think he'll keep the same role that he did from last season. Same as ScrubJay, I liked OD God's mechs, so this offensive duo is pretty talented.
But for their 5th ball, they chose Oink Oink? Oink Oink? Really? It's way too early to pick him no matter how much you try to spin it. I think this was a waste of a pick, they could've gotten a solid Centra 5th ball like Steeze or gh0st, but damn.
This team is comprised of four solid balls that know what they're doing. Porps could be the one weakpoint here but his three teammates are competent enough to keep him from doing a lot of dumb things. Another solid playoff contender.
