A Game of Pool

After a quick breakfast roll and hot drink in Neilston Bowling Club, we went down to Lochy's in Barrhead for a game of pool for an hour and maybe play some darts.

The place has only recently-opened upstairs in the shopping centre on Main Street with access at the back via the rear car park.

We played two against two on four tables for an hour, just playing games of eight-ball pool with no aim other than having a bit of fun. We might try and get a bit of a competition going though once we're a bit better at it. That said, there were a few of us that play the game more than others - 🎱🦈s.

Lochy's have about 12 pool tables for hourly hire and a number of dart boards available for free. I did dig out a set of darts I bought back in the 70's and had a wee throw at the board for five minutes and quickly came to the conclusion that some practise might be required 🎯😃.

The place is essentially a sports bar and offers drinks and food at reasonable prices so, next time, if we do a longer session, we're thinking we'll get some pizzas as well.
