The Beginning

“In a hole in the ground, there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit hole, and that means comfort.” - The Hobbit, J.R.R. Tolkien

Just like Bilbo Baggins, all players had to spend their first nights in a hole in the ground again. No big bases, no maxed gear, everything and everyone had gotten a clean slate. This gave new players the opportunity to level with OG players and gave older players the opportunity to challenge themselves again.

Even though this short period of fresh air was peaceful, the old tradition of war and dangerous politics soon was introduced again with factions getting involved in conquest. People built siege bases, maxed their gear and gathered their allies to prepare for anything that was waiting on them in the future. And with that, the first age of the new server began.
