How it began

After a few months of inactivity and doubt about the server's future, on the 29th of April 2022, JakeKGII (a shareholder of the server) privately suggested to start a "B server" to revive LOTR Survival.

Initially met with scepticism from Rob, Jake eventually formally suggested it on 4th June 2022. After a lengthy discussion, a poll and finally a community meeting, the new server was opened on 20th June, hitting a player count of 35 that same evening. And so began a new era of peace, war, and everything in between.

Even though a lot of this early history has been forgotten by players some interesting things still happened, like the formation of 2 big factions: The formation of Mordor and Durin's Folk. Both factions that, later on, became of great influence to the early wars of this new server.
