Lothlorien

Server History

Up till the end of the Age of Silence Lothlorien wasn't the most significant faction. When Xergarok took over right before the Great War the faction started to boom. Krysoun followed after him. He didn't manage to continue with this boom but altogether the faction itself remained strong. Krysoun got himself involved in the Great War soon after. He was allied with the Regime, because of this Lothlorien often became a battleground in the early days of the regime. Till the end of the war Krysoun managed to hold on the Lothlorien but his people became unhappy so he had to give up his position.

Thijs who was one of the people that disagreed with Krysoun took over the faction. Together with my_own_shadow, Thijs build his capital on a hill located at the Cerin Amroth waypoint. Both shadown and Thijs left for a while and RedDragon temporary tookover till Thijs returned. He was joined by Cas and 3 other people and Lothlorien started to florish again. This didn't last long. The capital got attacked by Rob to destroy the Church of Rauwr and soon after that Rob declared his ambitions to take over the world. Lothlorien was one of the first factions to fall. Thijs was forced to flee and went to the Iron Hills for refuge.

Ruins of the elven cities that were build during Xergaroks and Krysouns reign can still be found south of Caras Galadhon alongside the river.

Later

After the Orocarni conquest Thijs and Reddragon returned to Lothlorien. There Thijs worked on the base of their friend, My_Own_Shadow, turning it into a safe haven which allowed Lothlorien to prosper once again.
