Mountains of the Wind

LolyPoop's original lore for the faction was short so we build on top of it. The residents of the Mountains of the Wind are Red Mountains dwarves who sought a place to mine far away from the wars and stumbled on the Mountains of the Wind were they met some Avari. Avari are elves who stayed behind in Middle Earth and didn't travel west. The dwarves started to live in peace with the elves and made great cities underground connected by a network of underground roads. After a while the Easterlings heard rumours about the prosperous Mountains to the south and they decided to travel there to see for themselves. Some of the Easterlings broke free of the evil influence from Sauron and Morgoth and the elves and dwarves allowed to stay.

Bretonnia

During ages of kinstrife, yet so lesser known to history, many knights from various kingdoms left, abandoning their oaths and lieges. Many lost their mobility, many became farmers. In due time they all united to farm an enormous community of nobles. Yet the peasants flocked in, fleeing from wars or heavy taxation. And so the basis for a kingdom was being built. Yet there was no drive for them. None wanted the mantle of Lord of the realm. They lived far from their ancestrial homelands. Out in the wild woods. But soon raids from nomadic tribes began to torment and cause death and sorrow upon the feeble citizens, who all merely lived in megerly defended villages. Yet one day, through all this chaos, a man named Ariel Le Leoncoeur, found hope. He was resting nearby a pond, tending to a wound he had suffered to one of those savages. He witnessed his horse express emotions he had never seen before. He saw the water open up, and part, and from the depths The Lady came. The being to guide the kingdom from ruin. She bestowed upon the noble of old, a sword, which named the King's Judgment. Ariel soon became the first King, as all the peasants and nobles bowed down to the lady, and her chosen leader. With his crowning, Ariel wrote an oath and vow each noble and Knight had to take and abid until their last breathe. "That which is sacred, you must defend. That which is divine, you must protect. Those who cannot fight back, you aid them in doing so. Your holy wrath knows no bounds. Honor is all, Chivalry is all. Every knight must protect the peasants, or they shall never truly be a Knight." And so the kingdom thrived far away. They adopted the name, Bretonnia. Land of the chivalrous. Land of The Lady. Land of peace and divinity. Now the Kingdom of Bretonnia wishes to thrive once again. May their reign last for eternity.

Delader's Folk

Before the times of day, Delader had led his people from the lands of the south to the barren north. These desolate places have begun to fill and form a community here. In a place called Delduinion, under a mountain called the Ealgles' Eyrie, he built a city. Many generations of his people lived happily here, gradually reflecting one orc attack after another. But chaos death and revenge cannot be stopped. The enemy has taken a different tactic... starting to destroy the People of the Valley of Anduin from within. Unfortunately, he was successful. Delaret, the rightful heir to the throne, was killed by his half-brother Grimhelm in a craving for power. It set off a devastating civil war where Grimhelm stood rigidly on one and Deranhame, the uncle of the murdered Delaret, stood rigidly on the other. The fighting lasted several years until finally Grimhelm and his army drove Deranham to the foot of the Misty Mountains, where he and the remaining faithful hid in the city of Delduinion. He fortified this place and prepared for the siege. Grimhelm didn't have enough resources to lay siege to a well-defended city, so he signed up to the dark lord from the east. With his help, he easily conquered the city and killed Deranham. But Grimhelm was so generous that he believed what the shadow from the east had promised him: Unlimited rule in the river valley. His servants killed Grimhelm, ransacked the country and disappeared back east. For a long time, orcs and other filth roamed the wasteland. This place has become a dangerous wilderness. Until one young man, Drimhere, Delaret's grandson and heir to the throne, appeared. He and the captain of his company, Gunnhild, from the south, together summoned the remaining Delared´s people to the city of Delduinion, which he repaired and chose as his new home. From there he now seeks to conquer his homeland.

Faction info: This faction should be similar to the old Slavs. The faction is set in a place called the Vales of Anduin and at the foot of the Misty Mountains. The home of the faction is in the city of Delduinion.

Written by vikt1

On 28-1-2020 the facion was abandoned. The leader vikt1 left it to join Mordor writing the following message in #timeline;

The past was repeated today, with the leader of the Delader´s folk lured by evil, leaving his people at the mercy. Gunnhild, the last faithful with his riders, returned back to the south. On this day, Delader's Folk end...

Dréorin

Backstory

The Dréorin, a tribal people who inhabit the area north-west of Mordor (mainly in the rocky bluffs of Emyn Muil), are originally descendants of the Éothéod, or ancient Rohirrim. Being close to the scourge of the dark lord Sauron in the peak of his power, some of the horse-men were corrupted by his influence. The most heavily corrupted man, Éaldur, led this bleak contingent westward, allured by the power of the Mordorians. They labored under Sauron's influence for years, until the subsequent decline of the Mordorian empire. These men, fundamentally changed by years of dark influence, became shadows of their former, civilized selves. Bountiful in raw power but sporadic and aimless without the direction of the Dark Lord, they wandered back eastward to an area they had momentarily crossed over during their journey, a previously uninhabited area consisting of treacherous hills, endless swamps, and desolate plains. With their own free will restored, the old leader Éaldor offered the dreary men organization and started colonizing and spreading conquest across the desolation, although these men were still aligned with their Mordorian kin.

History

This custom faction was created on September 4th, 2019 by TommyWombo, previously leader of Rohan. At its inception, it was aligned with Mordor and owned the territories of Emyn Muil, Falls of Rauros, Dead Marshes, Nindalf, Mouths of Entwash, Brown Lands, and Field of Celebrant, with Emyn Muil as the main territory.

Elves of Anduin

The lore of the anduin elves goes all the way back to the fall of gondolin. When the great city fell the people that survived went to hide in the mountains near (later known as the gray mountains). They hid there in a cave and made that their home. Naldaroth, the great underground city of the elves. Strangely they never encountered the dwarves that awoke there later. They did meet a dragon Though, Ara-uloke the great cold drake. They fought it and lost many of their people though they won the battle. At the end of the second age they left their cave but some stayed, they where known as the snow elves. The ones that went out went south into the great vales of the anduin where they build a great kingdom. They also met the elves of the woodland realm, they became good allies. After that some explorers went east on boats through Mirkwood. They met the people of dale, esgaroth and the elves of dorwinion. They all started an alliance.

Romanos

The Romanos Family is the maffia of the Middle Earth.

The Mafia remained utterly neutral through out the entirety of the rebellion, even if The Godfather led the rebellion, and almost all the mafia men were also rebels. The entity of the Mafia was still considered neutral. Though some of its members did carry on the traditions during the war. Such as the stealing and collection of loans that were never payed back to either bank or guild. The Mafia has since fallen from grace and is now ruled by the new Godfather, Fancyfrank.

Taur Empire

Why we should let the fate of Middle-Earth to the race of men? After all they have done? After seeing Numenor fall for their ignorance, after seeing the great woodlands of Miniriath and Enedwaith being chopped and desertified for their own ambition, after selling the homeland of the Dunlendings to some strangers from the north, and forcing them on the exile?

We The Grear Taur Empire refuse to give men more than what they can handle. History has forgiven them way too much, and we do not buy anymore their false heroic facade.

"Taur" means forest in Sindarin. So that is what we would be, a force that comes from the woodlands, to rebalance and make green again what the sins from men have touched.

Joins us in our conquest, we would make war to the true enemy, and make Middle-Earth rich and evergreen again!

The Wadfrea Clan

A group of Dunlanders, Drùedain and like-minded with their most population of refugees from the now suppressed former 5 free provinces of Dunland. Wadfrea, another name for Oromë, is the lord of forests and hunting.

History sways to the notions of the one who wrote it, but can be traced back to a truth at its deepest roots. The Wadfrea Clan are peaceful, Highly religious and believe in freedom and power that nature can create with a distaste for authority, secretive at their core yet by appearances gregarious. Preferring diplomacy over war, many do mistake them for cowards or prey. But of course they always like a good fight against their neighbors in Rohan

Due to their reluctance to speak truthfully with outsiders, little of their deeper culture is known publicly, however some base facts about their way of life and history can be gleaned.

Rogue Dunedain

When Yiannis decided to join the Triumverat some of the Dunedain were skeptical and when the war between Triumverat and The Alliance started and Yiannis joined the side of Triumverat Wolf decided to split off but still remain Dunedain. Wolf traveled to the mountains of the wind and build a fortress there to support the ancient allies of the Dunedain (Gondor and High Elves). When Wolf was still the leader of the Dunedain he ruled the Dunedain in a similar way as The Alliance did and also believes that “good” should fight “evil”. Dúnedain Rogue disbanded after making peace with the Dúnedain on the 18th day of the great war. The ex Rogues that are Dúnedain again kept fighting against the Regime together with their Dúnedain brothers.
