Isengard

Server History

During the age of discovery and the first part of the dark ages Isengard was actually quite peaceful and maintained good relations with both good and evil factions. This changed when Lejopard took over. Lejopard was quick to ally up with the 3 badies and helped them terrorize the Dúnedain. While most other evil factions remained one player factions, Isengard actually grew. They fought against the good forces for the entirety of the Dark Ages but getting closer to the next age they saw a decline in evil players all together till Lejopard eventually left as the last evil player. This started of the age of silence.

Later in the Age of Silence to big city builder Demon that formerly owned Rhudel claimed Isengard together with his friend Slime. Like they did in Rhudel they build a big city and then another. Although Isengard was quite peaceful at the time they got themselves involved in the Great War anyway. Gohnserf declared war on all evil factions and this included Isengard. Isengard was one of the stronger factions during the Great War but went completely inactive.

The leaders that came after Demon stayed mostly on their own and didn't play a significant part in a war after that.

During the age of empires, Creo returned to Middle Earth. He claimed back the faction he once owned and started recruiting members. During the months of February and March it could even be considered the greatest evil faction when it came to numbers. There were rumors that Creo was planning to conquer Middle Earth. Unfortunately, Isengard slowly declined again during April.

Now under the watchful eye of Chroma, Isengard is ruled.. rather peacefully. Even with the loss of many of their lands, it still stands firm as a beacon of hope for all evil that still lurks the lands tainted by the light.

This peace was maintained was until Isengard joined the Dread Alliance, befriending the factions Dol Guldur and Umbar. It was then Isengard looked to reclaiming its long lost territories. Then, Isengard made three powerful castles to guard the lands, all that was left was for Isengard to declare and take back their long lost lands. Unfortunately, Chroma never went through with the declarations. Before long, the Last War was won and the Dread Alliance was disbanded, leaving the territories the territories still held by an underdog faction. This resulted in Isengard to fade back into the shadows...
