Aids for unloading truck beds are not new. For years I used an old poly tarp to help pull brush and yard waste out of the bed of the truck. Recently I made an improvement when the old tarp was replaced. I invested in a new 6x8' poly tarp ($10) and sewed a simple 2" hem at the narrow end. A 4 ft - 1" pvc was slipped into the hem and centered. Hand slots were cut into the tarp to allow gripping the pipe when pulling the tarp out of the truck bed. It works for brush and yard waste. Does not work well when material is heavy i.e.. rock and soil or over packed load.
End with 1" pipe for pulling tarp out of truck.
Note slot cut for better gripping pipe.
