I just seem to accumulate tools. They are not expensive nor have the name brand that make fellow hobbyist jealous. Most of them I just use and a few are noteworthy. Those tools that help me overcome problems as I grow older are listed in the Tools for Aging. Tools in this section just are useful in the shop and around the house.
In 2025, my purchasing world flipped upside down with excessive tariffs placed on most the tools to reduce the nation's high trade debt. Historically, many of the these tools were made in the USA but production shifted overseas with increasing cooperate greed, free trade and a global economy. Debt reduction is always a good thing but still painful for consumers buying the "I want that product". It makes me really examine my purchases based on need and use. Yes, even with high tariffs I would purchase these products again because I found them useful and saves the labor part of repair/maintenance cost.
