In 2016, I retired after 42 years of research and started pottery with a wheel. It has morphed into a full studio where I can mix high fired porcelain clay (locally mined), make glazes, create pots on a wheel and slab roller, and fire in an electric kiln (2350 F). China paints (low fired 1250 F) are used for hand decorating. My monthly production (±80 hrs) is ~150 lbs clay or 75 pieces. All wares are food and microwave safe.
It has been a learning process and I have recorded my reflections, hard lessons learned and hacks. Enjoy.
