OFFICERS
Officers make up the board of LA CoDA Intergroup. Officer positions have 2-year terms, half elected in even years and half elected in odd years. Qualifications for each office include at least 1 year of actively working the Twelve Steps in CoDA, a familiarity with the Twelve Traditions, and having previously attended at least four LA CoDA Intergroup meetings. Chairperson
Officer: FILLED
Service: Sets the agenda for the monthly LA CoDA meetings, and conducts the meetings in accordance with the 12 Traditions, LA CoDA group conscience, and established parliamentary procedure

Vice Chairperson

Service: Available to act as Chairperson as the need arises, supports & advises Chair during meetings, acts as timer during intergroup meetings, & updates Guidelines

Treasurer
Officer: FILLED
Service: Responsible for the receipt and disbursement of all LA CoDA funds and provides a formal written monthly accounting to LA CoDA, as well as presents an annual budget

SoCal Voting Entity Rep & Alternate
Officer: FILLED (Alternate OPEN)
Service: Represents LA CoDA’s group conscience at SoCal business functions, reports on those events to LA CoDA in writing & forwards regional materials to LA CoDA. Alternate fills in for Rep & attends functions with Rep whenever possible.

Officer: FILLED
Service: Provides reports to LA CoDA, collecting information such as announcements, events and news from neighboring CoDA Community Committees and Voting Entities
