World CoDA
CODA
INTERNATIONALThe international level of service is called CoDA World or CoDA International.
At the world service level, CoDA Service Committees, Other Service Entities and the Board of Trustees hold business meetings throughout the year to support regional Voting Entities and local Intergroups or Communities.
Members also provide international service as part of CoRE (CoDA Resources Publishing Company), our nonprofit literature publishing company, and CoDA Inc., our legal branch.
They also host the annual world business meeting, the CoDA Service Conference or CSC.
WHAT IS THE WORLD BUSINESS MEETING?
To enact change at the international level, groups of members that represent different CoDA communities can write motions. For example, Texas or Australia could have motions for new literature.
Just like regular meetings can hold business meetings in response to motions, CoDA hosts a yearly world-wide business meeting to vote on proposed motions. It's called the CoDA Service Conference (CSC).
Every member gets to vote on the international motions because CSC motions affect CoDA as a whole. Delegates from around the world carry their community’s votes to CSC.
HOW DO WE VOTE?
In Southern California, our SoCal delegates usually make an online survey where area members can share their votes. The survey is usually posted on SoCalCoDA.org and may be emailed to intergroups for Group Service Representatives to share with their meetings.
SoCal CoDA is made up of Los Angeles, The Desert, The Valley, San Diego, Orange County, Santa Barbara, Mountain CoDA, Inland Empire, CoDA Hispana and surrounding areas.
If you’re in a different area, we recommend contacting your local intergroup, CoDA community or delegates to find out how to share your votes.

WORLD SERVICE POSITIONS
Regional Voting Entity Delegates vote their Voting Entity fellowship's group conscience at the CoDA Service Conference (CSC). They also bring information back to their fellowship and provide CoDA-program guidance to trusted servants.
Other members give service at the international level by joining committees or the Board of Trustees for CoDA & CoRE. They review and approve committee reports, the CoDA budget, and discuss and set policy. For more info, visit CoDA.org
