*** The Buffalo News Apr 15, 2014 - Betty and Gary Muchow - Mr. and Mrs. Gary Muchow of Akron celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner in Schimschack’s Restaurant, Sanborn, followed by a trip to Lancaster, Pa. Mr. Muchow and Betty Schaller were married April 4, 1964, in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Clarence Center. He is a retired model maker for Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors Corp., Lockport. They have four children and six grandchildren.

James Larsen of Tonawanda celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family gathering in Athena's Family Restaurant, City of Tonawanda. Mr. Larsen and Kathryn Shaver were married Dec. 14, 1957, in Grace Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda. He is retired from Delphi, Lockport. The couple has two daughters and five grandchildren.

The Rev. Herbert C. Maurer, a United Church of Christ minister, performed the marriage ceremony for Kathryn L. Richardson Thomas and his nephew, Andrew C. Rawls, at 2 p.m. Saturday at the couple's home in Lockport, where a reception was given.
Parents of the bride are James and Phyllis Richardson of Lockport. The bridegroom is the son of Lorraine Rawls of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Town of Tonawanda, and the late Frank Rawls.
The bridegroom is employed by West-Herr Ford Inc.
