Frederick Kleinhans' grandson Norman August Kleinhans married Kathleen Gormley in 1916. Her parents were James Gormley and Caddie (Kellog) Gormley. Her maternal side, the Kellog family, can be traced back 600 years to relatives from the British Isles. The Gormley tree starts below with Kathleen's grandfather Peter Gormley who immigrated initially from Ireland. The Kellog family tree can be viewed on FamilySearch.org (a free account is needed to access the website). The Kellogg and Wells families, stretching back to British Colonial America in the 1600s, are related to several famous people and US Presidents (see mini-bio below).

Originally from Ireland and Canada, the Gormleys immigrated to the Town of Royalton, Niagara County near the turn of the twentieth century. Considering Peter Gormley was born in Ireland in 1837 it's possible that the Gormleys immigrated to Canada due to the Irish potato famine of 1845 to 1852 that caused upwards of a million Irishmen to die and 2 million to flee the country.
Also, according to the FamilySearch website the Norman Kleinhans branch (through Norman's wife Kathleen Gormley) is related to the Kellogg and Wells families stretching back to British Colonial America in the 1600s. The Kellogg tree is readily available to view on FamilySearch along with sources. Consequentially the Norman Kleinhans branch through the Gormley/Kellog family is related to Emily Elizabeth Dickinson, twenty-six (26) US Presidents from George Washington to Richard Nixon, Marie Antoinette, Winston Churchill, Princess Diana of Wales, the Orville brothers, John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis Presley to name just a few (62 total according to FamilySearch). Here's a link to the Norman Kleinhans family tree on FamilySearch.com but you have to sign in to view it and you won't be able to see the famous relatives unless you search through their large tree. Instead, you can view a duplicate of the Famous Relatives page with pictures of all the famous people the Gormleys are related to.

*** LOCKPORT UNION-SUN AND JOURNAL-SATURDAY EVENING, JULY 17, 1920 -- Mr. and Mrs. Edmund C. Barker and son of Sherrill, N. Y.; Mrs. Walter Gormley and son of Lockport, and Mrs. Norman Kleinhans and children of Lockport called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Mann Thursday evening.
*** Vincenzo Palisano (1904 - 1988) - James was born in Sicily in 1904. He arrived in the United States with his mother, brother and sister on November 28, 1909.
James worked as a barber in Lockport, NY for many years, eventually owning his own shop with his brother Charles at 18 Lock Street. They advertised as a union shop. The brothers spent a lot of time together and presumably had some arguments- James even filed charges against his brother after one fight, but later withdrew the charges.
He married Josephine in January 1928. They had at least four children: Phylis M., James, Catherine, and Rose.
The Lockport paper reported a story about him losing a bet over the 1934 World Series - he bet on the Detroit Tigers, who lost 11 to 0, and had to push fellow barber Walter Gormley down Main Street in a wheelbarrow. They printed another story and his picture when he bought a new car with $850 in all silver dollars, which he saved for four years. James died on January 9, 1988.

►Thomas "Speedy" Gormley's Obituary: click
✞Daily Press, Victorville, California from Aug. 18 to Aug. 22, 2020 -- Thomas Duncan "Speedy" Gormley passed peacefully in the arms of his wife of 58 years Sylvia into the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ on August 4, 2020, following a lengthy illness. Thomas was born in Lockport, New York, on February 15, 1942. He was welcomed into this world by his grandfather, Peter R. Brady, whom he idolized his entire life. Tom grew up in the country; initially attended a one room school, Barker Central School; and eventually transitioned to Royalton Hartland High School in Middleport. As a teen, Tom and his lifelong buddies were quite the pranksters. Tom joined the Army, was injured and honorably discharged. Tom met Sylvia Swick and became engaged. He went to work at American Machine and Foundry (AMF) in Buffalo, New York, was laid off, and California beckoned. He landed in Santa Monica and got a job at Lockheed. AMF called him back and, since Sylvia would not fly to California, returned to Gasport. On September 8, 1962 they were married. In November of 1964 they welcomed their first child, Thomas into this world, and within 27 months, they welcomed their second and third children, Tamara and Timothy. Together with lots of blood, sweat, tears, and patience on Sylvia's part, Tom and Sylvia built Speedy Auto Service which they operated until 1980. In 1981, the family moved to the Dallas, Fort Worth area and subsequently moved to Victorville, CA in 1982. In Victorville, Tom continued his love for dealing in automobiles, tinkered with classic El Caminos, and became a real estate agent. Tom was actively involved as a Boy Scout leader, Cub Scout master, member of the Newfane Shooters Club, Charter President of the Wrights Corners Lions Club, and member of Victorville Lions and Lionesses. Tom was raised in the Newfane Masonic Lodge 947 in 1966. In Victorville, Tom was involved with Masonic Lodge 634, Scottish Right, and Apple Valley Shriners. Tom was the cherished husband of Sylvia, father of Tom and his wife Arlene, Tammy and her husband Greg, and Tim and his wife Dawn. A proud grandfather of Tyler and his wife Cendy, Samantha "Princess", Savannah "Peanut", William, and great-grandson Ryland. He is survived by his brother Gerald L. Gormley.
