Romans 1:18-32
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
John 6:46-47
Belief in Jesus Gives Us Eternal Life
46 No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father. 47 Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.
John 11:25-27
Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
27 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”
God gave us the Bible, and there are many mysteries in it...There are many other mysteries around us...I believe their is great mystery in faith...Their is a mystery in life, and there is also mystery in death...This mystery of death has caused many atheists to say that God exists only because man is so fearing and puzzled about his own death...Man needs Something or Someone to calm this mystery of finality, this great puzzlement, this final fear that we have...Therefore, man created God to take care of his own fears and personal needs...So all around us we can see mysteries...
Another mystery around us is creation...There are those who try to explain the mystery of creating by evolution...If man is here by evolution, then there is a great mystery of what is before evolution?...There is mystery in those things of evolution...But one must ask how did all things come from nothing, and come from a primitive soup over thirteen to fifteen billion years ago...There seems to be many ideas made up around evolution...And evolution has changed and evolved since Darwin first came out with his theory...And many will say evolution has evolved but in a scientific way...But nonetheless, mysteries abound in evolution...
God gave us mysteries to maybe think about Him, since He is Spirit...Mystery is not the same as creation...Man did not create God, man discovered God...Man discovers God, when and as he looks around and sees what He created...And as we look for our personal answers in creation, God is there...We wonder how did creation got here...We have and feel that mystery of these things around us...Maybe mystery has an effect on us and makes us want to seek God...How did all these things around us, just come into existence?...How did nature and the birds, fish, animals and reptiles get here?...And why don't He show us more than glimpses and slices of Him?...All of these things are a mystery...
But God did another great mystery, to tell us something more about our discovery and discovering of Him...Besides God's creation, He sent us His Son...Jesus is the resurrection and the life...He overcame death...His Son says He is the only way to His Father...Those that believe in Him and His Father can have eternal life...These different mysteries speak of God...And we can read about these Truths, in the Bible...Many of our personal mysteries are answered in it...
