Genesis 8:1-22
The Earth Endures
But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded. 2 Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky. 3 The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down, 4 and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. 5 The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.
6 After forty days Noah opened a window he had made in the ark 7 and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth. 8 Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground. 9 But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark. 10 He waited seven more days and again sent out the dove from the ark. 11 When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth. 12 He waited seven more days and sent the dove out again, but this time it did not return to him.
13 By the first day of the first month of Noah’s six hundred and first year, the water had dried up from the earth. Noah then removed the covering from the ark and saw that the surface of the ground was dry. 14 By the twenty-seventh day of the second month the earth was completely dry.
15 Then God said to Noah, 16 “Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives. 17 Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you—the birds, the animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground—so they can multiply on the earth and be fruitful and increase in number on it.”
18 So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives. 19 All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds—everything that moves on land—came out of the ark, one kind after another.
20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it. 21 The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.
22 “As long as the earth endures,
seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat,
summer and winter,
day and night
will never cease.”

God is Spirit
24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.
John 5:16-18
God and His Son are Always Working
16 For this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath. 17 But He answered them, "My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working." 18 For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.…
Acts 17:24-31
God has Marked Out our Appointed Times on Earth
24 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
29 “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill. 30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. 31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”
God has given us His Laws of Nature...They are a great mystery...God is in control of these Laws...God works to keep the earth finely tuned so man can survive and the universe expanding into infinity, as He keeps all the heavenly hosts in their proper places...God is working and sustaining the universe...God is in control of the universe...
The mathematician, and Father of Geometry, Euclid said, "The Laws of Nature are but the mathematical thoughts of God."...Nature is blessed with mathematical equations...Many scientists and physicists often see the world through cosmology, the Laws of Nature, and evolution...But somehow for me the Laws of Nature and cosmology and the universe meets...Both scientists and theologians search for mystery...And in these mysteries are the Laws of Nature...So science and theology are connected for me...Scientists are looking for the mysteries of nature...Theologians look to find out more and learn about the Spirit, more about the Spiritual...Every year we seem to learn more about our planet and our universe...As we learn these things we learn more about God's great creational works -and the workings of nature...
When God remembered Noah and his family and all the animals, the LORD said never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done...“As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.”...
God has given us the Laws of Nature since the ancient days...He tells us this...And He controls these Laws of Nature...They will not cease until, it is time...We will have seasons of summer and winter...We will have cold days and days of heat...There will be a time to plant at seed time and a time for harvesting the crops from our seeds...We will have days and we will have nights, as long as the earth endures...God controls these things of weather, of seasons, the time when it is hot and the time when it is cold...
Our time is God's time and God is in eternity...I have heard many say that time is very valuable...Many years ago, Albert Einstein realized that time is not absolute; it runs at a slower or faster rate depending on how quickly one is moving... Scientists like Einstein believe we lose time over long flight trips...Something, therefore, is in control of time and space and eternity...There is no one absolute clock in the universe ticking away at the same rate that everyone in the world agrees upon...Or is there?...Something or Someone seems to be out there dealing with time and many other things, outside our time dimension...Is there One who controls all things including time and space and eternity?...Who can control time?...Is there One who controls the weather, the food we eat, the days and the nights, and the time we have and will live on earth?...Is there One not far from us, and give us the time when should inhabit the earth?...Is there One who marked out our appointed time in history and where we will live?...
