Trico is an exploding-fruit launching triceratops mobile. Trico has exceptional HP and standard attack damage, but only moderate utility when it comes to positioning, items, clouds, and decent land destruction in its special shot. Trico's shots each feature a regular rotating pattern, but its second shot in particular requires a great deal of practice in order to perfect its timing and consistently land correctly, making Trico well among the most challenging-to-learn mobiles in the game.
Trico launches a pair of tightly spinning cabbages in an arc which will independently explode upon contact with a mobile, totem, or land for moderate damage and land destruction. With both cabbages landing, S1 will deal approximately 220-240 damage.
Trico launches a trio of durian which always revolve clockwise in a regular period. The central fruit in the trio follows the shot's arc while other two spin around it. S2 will deal exceptional damage if placed correctly such that all three durian land into the target. With a properly placed shot, S2 will deal around 260-280 damage on average. It will deal minimal destruction if contacting the ground. S2 is Trico's preferred standard shot for its high damage potential and excellent cloud utility, but it is especially challenging to master its placement and timing.
With its SS, Trico launches an apple that will, shortly after passing through the apex of the shot, burst in six directions from the center, dealing high damage and land destruction in this area. A well placed SS will, on average, deal around 370-400 damage to any mobile it hits. The closer to the center of the explosion a target is, the more damage they will receive.
1. When firing S2 from right to left, the durian begin their rotation in a "positive slope" positioning ("/"), and when firing from left to right, a "negative slope" positioning ("\"). This means that for shots fired from right to left, compared to left to right from the same distance and arc, the aim will need to be slightly higher to allow a bit more time for the extra 45 degrees of rotation it needs to be to landed in the same position.
2. As S2 passes through a tornado, its hang-time is extended. This means extra distance is required compared to the same shot made without a tornado to return to the desired point of the cycle.
