Ice is a woolly mammoth mobile who launches ice and snow based projectiles. Ice is among the simplest mobiles and easiest to learn as all of its projectiles fire in conventional arcs directly toward its target for direct damage. Ice's primary strength is its exceptionally high HP, boasting the highest in the game. In addition to its HP, Ice's SS is one of the best land-destruction tools available in the game, making it an exceptionally strong bunging tool. Ice suffers from a lack of standard offensive options however. The base damage of its attacks are uniformly low and cannot make much use of clouds and items. Ice's digging ability with its S2 makes it a solid choice to partner with tanks like Grub or IceBall, or as part of an all-purpose bunging team.
Ice's S1 is as simple and straightforward as a shot can be in GunBoundM. A single shard of ice is launched in a arc that deals damage to a totem or mobile is contacts. S1 will generally deal around 200-220 damage and does minimal land destruction if contacted with or near the ground.
With S2, Ice launches a single ice ball which will, upon contact with a totem, land, or mobile, burst into two smaller ice balls to each side in a small arc. The secondary ice balls will explode only upon hitting land, and will cause a moderate amount of land destruction and will place the target in a hole if placed correctly. If both secondary ice balls land within damaging range of the target, S2 will generally do 220-230 damage.
Ice's SS fires a beacon. From a fixed distance above where the beacon lands, three ice bergs will come crashing directly downward in succession. Each ice berg will deal moderate damage and massive land destruction. With all three ice bergs connecting with the target, SS will deal around 350 damage and create a deep pit which will often result in a bungee shot on narrower points of the map.
1. The ice bergs of Ice's SS do not align exactly in their downward path; they are slightly offset from each other. When using SS normally, making sure to land the beacon directly on top of the target is advised to assure each ice berg connects. For the purpose of double hits or destroying land slightly to one side of the target, SS can be deliberately placed off-center.
2. Ice's S2 can encounter problems when continuously landed directly on top of a target as the two secondary balls will begin building pits to the sides of the target. After just a couple of hits in this manner, the secondary ice balls will be out of damage range when they explode. To counter this, Ice should alternate S2 between direct hits and hits closer to the targets feet so that the target is continuously dug into the hole.
