Arrow is a ballista mobile who fires, appropriately enough, volleys of arrows onto its opponents. Arrow is a 'glass cannon' type of mobile who can deal moderate to high damage and with its long range, it can build its SS meter quickly. In return, Arrow is among the least durable mobiles with very low HP. It is most often used by hiding under cover and launching super-sky shots to build SS quickly, which can then be shot directly through the land from under cover, as well as being used similarly to Eraser with its 'kamikaze' stack-damage attack in S1. Arrow cannot destroy much of any land, but it can utilize damaging clouds to great effect. It's attacks feature some unique trajectory styles that require some practice to master.
S1 is a single arrow fired in an arc which will, upon contact with a totem, mobile, or land, deal a moderate amount of damage and then continue for a short distance in a straight line, splitting off into three arrows from the point of contact, passing through all objects and land and dealing damage to any further mobile or totem it comes to contact with. A mobile or totem damaged by the arrow will normally be dealt around 200-220 damage. S1 is one of the few attacks in the game that deal 'stacked' damage, which is to say that the damage increases greatly if multiple mobiles and/or totems are directly on top of one another when struck by the attack. In this case, this attack will deal around 300-340 damage.
With S2, three bundled arrows are fired in an arc which will, after reaching its apex, separate and fall in a fixed angle, parallel with one another, and slightly spaced apart. Unlike typical shots, this descent angle will always be the same no matter what the angle of ascent was. Furthermore, while the ascending bundle is affected by wind in the normal way, the descending arrows are only minimally affected by wind. With a well placed shot, all three arrows will strike the target for around 230-250 damage.
Arrow's SS fires a volley of arrows in a spread arc which will pass directly through land. Any mobile or totem that an arrow passes through will receive moderate damage. How much damage this attack does is highly defendant upon how many arrows strike the target. If all or most of the arrows connect, it will deal upward of 600-700 damage. The closer an opponent is to Arrow, the easier it will be to land more SS arrows.
1. A common strategy when using Arrow is to drop it down on top of an opponent and strike both Arrow and the opponent with S1 for boosted/stacked damage. You might use a shield or vampire to mitigate the damage dealt to Arrow, or use this strategy even without such items for a quick and heavy blow to finish off an opponent.
2. Arrow's SS will spread at high angle and long-distance shots. The two ways it can be fired and land most or all of the arrows onto the target are to either 'shotgun' the attack at the lowest possible angle (aiming at the bottom or feet of the target), or to lob the attack in a mid-range angle from a very short distance, which will cause all of the arrows to stay bunched together. Headwind will also tend to bunch the arrows together while tailwind, as well as tornadoes, will tend to spread them further apart.
