Let’s Celebrate Israel’s Birthday!
Israel is a country far away that people of all religions are connected to. It is considered the Jewish Homeland. Today we celebrate Israel’s birthday. Israel is 72 years old.
Let’s sing Happy Birthday to Israel in English and in Hebrew!
During Circle Time or FaceTime, we will be read 3 Falafels In My Pita or Ella’s Trip to Israel.
Take a pretend airplane ride to Israel - discuss what to pack, sing “going on an airplane” -

Activities -
Snack on a popular Israeli food - Hummus, Pita, Falafel, Pomegranate Juice, Couscous
Make an Israeli flag - Use paint, yarn, ripped magazines in blue and white, scrap paper. Glue your flag to a popsicle stick or even a large twig (careful of sharp edges).
