Did you know...

Butterflies taste with their feet! What do you taste for with?

Butterflies drink from mud puddles.

Butterflies can’t fly if they are cold.

Butterfly wings are transparent.

Have fun with this activity creating your own cute and colorful caterpillar using a paper plate!

1. Cut the paper plate in half.

2. Cut the middle flat circle away from the bordered edge.

3. Use the circle piece for the head of the caterpillar.

4. Color your caterpillar body and head and draw a face.

Butterfly tracing

Practice your penmanship by tracing all the lines in the butterfly. Color when finished.
