Hi Families,

Developing fine motor skills is an important part of your child’s learning process. This cute and crafty caterpillar activity will have have your child cutting, painting, drawing, and manipulating small objects to create a fuzzy colorful friend.

Supplies needed:

Recycled Egg carton

Paint

Glue

Pipe cleaners (if not use cut pieces of paper for eyes, legs & antennae)

Be creative

There is also a worksheet attached reinforcing the lesson of the life cycle of the butterfly.

Your child will need scissors to cut out the circles and glue in place.
