Lesson 4/29

Hi Friends,

Now that you’ve all created your symmetrical butterflies, it’s time to make sure that the butterflies in nature have a place to come and eat. This lesson encourages the use of pinchers and grippers.

Grab a paper plate, hole puncher, beads ( if you have) or any items you can attach to a pipe cleaner or straw or yarn. Ask your grown up to let you cut the string or straw and remember how to grip the scissor properly.

Let your child hole punch and feed the yarn or whatever you choose through the hole. This part of the lesson will encourage patience and fine motor skills.

Have your child pick a fruit that they would like to put on the plate and then hang it on a branch and watch the magic.
