Lesson 5/11

Hi Friends,

As we begin to explore the lifecycle of a ladybug we thought we should start where the ladybug lays her eggs.

The eggs are laid on a leaf to protect them from other bugs “ bugging” them.

Grownups you can draw the leaf or ask your child to draw the leaf.

Have your child use a scissor to cut out the leaf.

Decorate with glitter, markers or any art medium your child chooses.

This will work on their fine motor skills as well as their appropriate recall of safety when using scissors.

Hold onto your leaf for your ladybug. Have fun
