Hi Friends,
We have been discussing the life cycle of the duck. Let’s recall how we numbered the stages that the duckling goes through from egg to chick to adult duck.
We are learning that ducks are semi aquatic animals. Remember that means they can live sometimes in the water and sometimes on land.
We are also learning that a ducks feathers repel water and that helps them stay above the water and not get weighted down when it rains or when they swim in a pond.
Have fun creating your own duckling (ask a grownup to draw the picture & you can help cut it out).
If you would like, you can then add your duckling to your duck pond that you created previously.
Add feathers if you have or any scraps of paper to make the ducks body.
