Hi Parents,
It is Morah Lauren’s birthday on Friday. As a surprise, I thought it would be great if you could ask the children to make a card or a picture to surprise her with on Friday at circle time. Thanks for your help.

Lesson 3/26:
Caterpillar Critters
•Suggested supplies:
•Print out or make a page or 2 of circles,
•Make sure you have 1 circle for each letter of your name and 1 circle for the head
•crayons, markers, colored pencils or pens
• scissors
•glue sticks
•piece of paper
1. With a marker, write a letter of your name in each circle.
2. Color and cut each circle (ask for an adults help if needed)
3. Draw a face on the head, this will be your 1st circle
4. Start connecting your caterpillar by starting with the 1st letter of your name until you reach the last letter. Overlapping the edge of the circle just a little bit.
5. Glue onto a piece of paper. With a crayon or marker add lots of legs, and 2 antennae on the head. Please share your caterpillars at circle time on Friday morning.
*Feel free to add as many circles as you want. Use as many colors as you want. You can also make the body wiggly or straight, up to you!
