Hi Friends,
It’s veggie time. We’ve made our way through fruits, and now let’s explore veggies. Just like fruits, we are learning that vegetables grow differently too.
Let’s create a vegetable garden out of a shoe box, popsicle sticks & colored paper.
Have your child cut out the vegetables ( please print out or draw them) & then glue them onto the popsicle sticks.
Cover the show box in colored paper & then allow them to use their skills & strength to push the stick through the paper to get the vegetables to stand up.
Discuss what makes fruits & vegetables different.
Have them tell you what’s needed to bring on growth. We’ve been discussing this all week.
