Description:
A reclusive and xenophobic species of humanoid, the Snorx is known for its almost anomalous extreme cold tolerance, low metabolism, and ability to survive in a vacuum. They typically live in isolated colonies on remote worlds, usually to distance themselves from other civilizations. However, diplomacy with Snorx colonies are not always in vain. As they usually lack food sources, Snorxes sustain themselves by absorbing nutrients from the ground (or air, if applicable).
It is unknown what planet Snorxes originated on or how they were able to spread so far across the Gergosphere, but the earliest reports of them date back to the 2400s, when they were described as occasionally migrating to and from the Hyperborean Spacial Anomaly Region. Due to its anomalous nature, it is unknown whether Hyperborea survived the Great Wipe, though unreliable Snorx accounts detail travels to the region as late as 3230.
