Description (provided by Galaxy's Wackiest Places):
On tonights edition of Galaxy’s Wackiest Places, we present: The Grimlands. To say time has taken its toll would be an understatement, for the Grimlands is nothing but toll. A belt of worlds once considered to be the Gergosphere’s box of jewels in the cosmos, reduced to a sad, stricken wasteland of misery from the Dyromachy. The few remaining worlds that haven’t been reduced to rubble or transformed into glorified asteroids are home to merely a few isolated communities of the reclusive Snorx. Even among the hardened and extremophilic Snorx, the region is considered hard to look at, often described as “a place where someone being punished is sent to”. Even the stars are hard to look at, usually bright and full of wonder, now clouded in smog storms similar to what is found in the Divide. No native life forms exist in the Divide anymore, with the enigmatic exception of the Blower Autonomous Automation Strain. Even these poor machines are considered endangered from their dramatically high suicide rates, spurred from a lack of purpose and constant agony caused by the aforementioned smog storms inflicting bodily harm. The space here is so dreary that it has been said the space itself folds to bring passerbys out of their misery. While this has not yet been confirmed, it has not been denied either. Stay tuned for more!
