Iqual V, also known as Propane is a gas giant in the Iqual System and the least populated of the systems other two population zones (the others being Iqual II and Propane's largest moon, Scornia). While Scornia acts as the capital of the system and the polity of the same name, Propane is where much of the system's agriculture is performed, with air algae being farmed and harvested in large scale operations by Propane's residents. 

As Propane is a gas giant, it has no surface for individuals to live on. Instead, the population lives in a series of floating communities in the planet's upper atmosphere where gravitational pressure, planetary radiation output, and atmospheric density is sufficient for most lifeforms. Propane is an odd case, as it possesses an unusually high oxygen concentration, allowing for residents of the planet to live outside with little protective gear as long as they remain between 130,000 and 100,000 feet above the "dead zone", where conditions become too hazardous for casual planetary travel. Propane's residents travel between communities in airships, which are preferred for their size, cost efficiency, and ability to utilize air currents in travel, though thrusters are a common feature to perform emergency maneuvers. Spacecraft and jet airplanes are also present, but are much more costly and have a limited range in the case of the latter. 

Most of Propane is generally a stable place to live, excepting the odd storm or rogue air current that may blow pedestrians into the abyss. However, civil issues that arise are difficult to deal with, as in the case of the planet's piracy epidemic towards the south pole. Orbital bombardment is not an option as there is no surface to bombard and the planet's clouds hide hostiles. As a result, the Scornian government uses space-capable fighter jets similar to what is found at Venvi when combating Propane piracy, though the issue has yet to be resolved.
