Dwarves

A short-statured humanoid race of similar appearance to humans, the aptly-named dwarves are known for their fondness for underground regions and small, plump forms. Though a minority in most regions, dwarves lead much of the galactic mining industry and are partially responsible for the large asteroid mining culture that the Gergosphere attained in the Dyromachy. Despite their contributions to mining and preference for airless rocky worlds, dwarves have been subject to disdain by certain xenophobic groups, most notably Snorx communities based in locations that conflict with dwarven mining operations.
