Description:
By far the most perplexing humanoid species ever known, Metathralsians boast extremely high physical stats and extremely low tolerance to others. They are infamous for attacking mining operations and deep space commuters, although such attacks are rare now that the properties of Metathralsians are known to the general public. It is currently unknown how they sustain themselves or reproduce.
Metathralsians were the result of vigorous pre-Wipe genetic engineering programs based on what is now known as Sutheria I. Preserved records state that they were created when "jury-rigged" marrite magic was introduced into the genome of certain individuals, though the exact traits necessary for Metathralsian development were not found. It is said that shortly after their creation, they escaped containment and caused significant damage to the planet's infrastructure. Since then, their numbers have been steadily increasing.
