Description:

The Milnilchlan system was the old home of the Milnilchlanese culture, an offshoot of Binnians who settled the system in the 2600s. After being conquered by the Proto-Helvetican Clique in 3123, the system underwent a Gergification process, involving the mass settlement of Gergitorians into the system and repression of Milnilchlanese ideals. However, the native culture continued to survive despite oppression. 

The Milnilchlan system became an early powerhouse in the Dyromachy, resisting Clementinan invasion and raids from minor polities. This did not stop the system from falling to the hands of the Clementinan Khaganate in 3933, a period of occupation that lasted until the Red September Revolt in 4241, when the Red September Armada engaged in a mutiny and occupied the Milnilchlan System. The rogue armada established an especially brutal and repressive regime, defined by random massacres of non-combatants and the razing of multiple planets on the basis of "poor cooperation". The most adverse example of such atrocities was shown in the Clementinan Collapse, where the Red September Armada vigorously pillaged the Clementina System, killing or enslaving most of its population and setting back its technological and infrastructural progress by a millennium. 

The Khaganate lost control of the system shortly after due to having razed most of its fortifications, and the Grand Admiral of the Red September was ousted in a coup after losing the Helvetican War in 4581. Now, leadership of the nation is typically determined in a gladiator battle between all claimants to the throne in the event the current Gerg dies or steps down.
