Description:
The Bletcher's League (named after Chycassian martyr Joan Bletcher) refers to the mutual identity between the post-Clementinan Gergates and other miscellaneous states that lie between the worlds of the Dolesmos and Milnilchlan Khaganates, including Dyron. Although the region is not unified and hasn't been since the Clementinan Collapse, the constituent states have been known to cease their various squabbles and band together when faced with an external threat. The most notable example of this was the Helvetican War from 4498 to 4581, when Milnilchlanese forces laid siege to the namesake system and its surrounding rogue bodies in an attempt to annex the region without causing significant infrastructural damage. This, of course failed when allied fleets broke the siege in 4562 and pushed the Milnilchlanese back to their current borders.
Today, the most developed system remains Dyron, despite being under disputed rule and having suffered critical damage in the early Dyromachy and the Clementinan wars. The fourth moon of Dyron VI, "Gergistan", remains the unofficial capital of the Bletcher's League and where most international negotiation in the region occurs. Although there is much conflict still haunting the League, there have been recent negotiations for another region-wide ceasefire to combat supposed Calor-Hagbeadi advances in the galactic west.
