Due to retrograde amnesia and profound reluctance to share unaffected details of his past, Scarlet's backstory is mostly unknown. His biomass, physique, and knowledge on weaponry heavily implies he served as a rapid assault unit in the Hagbeadi military, with at least a few hundred kills under his belt according to non-lucid rambling. It is unknown how long he served or whether he suffered any major injuries during that time, as Hagbeadi shapeshifting properties make chronological aging difficult. His biological age and relatively young brain point to him being a juvenile in his species, though he claims his current appearance was based off others around him in an attempt to distance himself from his past.

In his time under Seimorian care, Scarlet has proven to be exceptionally docile and agreeable, though often going out of his way to boost productivity at the cost of personal ergonomics. He also displays an exceptional intelligence, boasting an IQ of nearly ███ , the highest ever recorded in a Hagbeadi and among the highest in verified history. However, he appears to suffer from an acute avoidance to sudden loud sounds and verbal Hagbeadi code, attributing the sounds to that of war.
