"Jing"

Biography:

Typically dismissed by other marrites as "a bit off", Jing is known for his advocacy for flintlock firearms and large private reserves of gunpowder, which Jing is presumably addicted to. It is unknown how or why this is the case, and any answers given by the fellow tend to be highly contradictory with one another. He currently lives on an isolated rogue asteroid between the Nospotamian and Midlands systems, where he fervently stockpiles gunpowder and similar materials while "on the run from the others". Therefore it can be inferred that Jing has committed enough crimes against a theoretically wider marrite society that reintroduction into said society would be done via an arrest. The nature of his crimes are unclear and explanations given about them have also been extremely contradictory. 

During a time period spanning from 4397 to 4113, Jing supposedly foresaw the heat death of the universe and founded what can be described as a cult. At its height in 4045, the cult had membership among marrites, humans, and several other sophants, and had chapters as far south as Urban and as far north as Milnilchlan, with possible pockets in MG and what is now Hyperbrasil, a product of an idea exchange that occured throughout the old Clementinan Khaganate. However, after agents from the Blossom Papacy poisoned some of Jing's gunpowder and persecuted his followers, the cult died down, with the last known organized cell being shut down in 4113. Jing was sentenced to the Jonoran System Correction Camp after recovering from his poisoning, eventually escaping along with a "ragtag crew" when the camp was liberated during the Battle of Jonora in 4145. The fate of Jing's crew remains unknown, though it is thought that they either fled to Alacore or enlisted in the Nosopotamia Khaganate's army.
